CC Creams: Dr. Dennis Gross
This CC cream I stumbled upon after being disappointed by most BB creams on the market today. The SPF used in most prestige brands is not tinted, resulting in a white-to-bluish hue that’s not attractive on darker skin tones and often requires layering with a second product, defeating the idea of a simple skincare routine. I remember his original tinted moisturizer; it lacked a sufficient range of shades for me to think of using.
I was pleasantly surprised trying this! It’s concentrated, but using your fingers means blending quickly. You’d get better coverage and finish using a foundation brush. I wouldn’t rely on this for a day outside but it’s fine for running errands or a traditional workday. If you wrestle with enlarged pores, this is best suited as a ‘treatment primer’ rather than a product to use solo. It’s buildable, but I think there are more economical products if that’s your goal.
