Review: Curls Unleashed Sulfate-Free Shampoo

I was hesitant about trying this product. I haven’t been very impressed by items I see on drugstore shelves targeted to natural hair. I’m all for co-washing and leaving any shampoos containing laurel sulfates in the past. But sometimes, you do need a little lather if you’ve been too heavy-handed with styling products or a long, late night in a smoky bar or club. Or a weekend in Vegas. Or my menthol-Misty-120s-chain-smoking mother.

I’m happy to report I was pleased with the results of this shampoo! You can use this shampoo sparingly, as a little goes a long way. It lathers well, but didn’t make my hair feel stripped of oils. Natural, but not organic (other than the benzyl benzoate), it looks like a keeper!
