The following is my take on using this product, using verbiage from their website:
Curl Quencher Moisturizing Styling Gel conditions hair with rich emollient moisturizers while it smooths and defines curls (dried out my hair and created crunchy, tight coils, rather than softer looking curls), giving just the right amount of hold. A unique
hydrating and styling aid in one, Curl Quencher’s Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Pro-Vitamin B5 penetrate the hair shaft to plump and hydrate curls (not in my experience – took extra conditioning to make hair soft again), leaving it soft, manageable and full of shine without any buildup (daily misting did not help, nor did daily washing). This light-hold gel defines and holds dry, thirsty curls (still dry and parched) and gives them just what they’ve been thirsty for – conditioning and holding in one.
Sigh – nasty silicones and parabens. Ingredients:
