The March…

Fifty years? What has changed? Lots and a little. Racism is covert rather than overt. I can vote without taking a test or being physically threatened at the poll. White feminists decided they can have it all, then realized they can’t. More African-American men are in prison than ever before and educational costs are skyrocketing. I have the internet, but lost civility and chivalry. Rantings of how aspects of Black culture is getting appropriated/snatched into White society. None of these arguments are new. Think of jazz; how did it get from Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington to Diana Krall?

Superficially, we’ve lost a lot in terms of fashion style, not that I’m pining to go back to daily mandatory girdle & stockings.
